CELEBRATE IN 2008!
In honor of Petaluma's 150th Anniversary, the City of Petaluma and the Petaluma Visitor Program are producing a yearlong celebration that includes events and commemorative merchandise. The 150th Anniversary year special events include the Mayor's Gala on March 29, the all inclusive Sesqui'Fest Community Event on July 4th in conjunction with the City's traditional Independence Day fireworks display and many more community activities developing throughout the year. Among the commemorative items offered for sale during the 150th Anniversary year are a high quality coffee table book of essays and photos memorializing the past 15 decades of Petaluma's history.

Community businesses, corporations and leaders are invited to take part in this unique opportunity to help Petaluma residents and visitors celebrate 150 years through the purchase of a Sesquicentennial Celebration Sponsorship. Sponsorships are being offered at many levels.
