Looking for Arts and Entertainment?

The Petaluma Arts Center, next to the Visitors Centers, is a welcoming introduction to all our community has to offer. From there, it just a few blocks to downtown where there are more than a dozen galleries within walking distance. Live theater and music happen almost nightly in historic and intimate venues throughout town.

Ribs for Kids is Petaluma's premier rib competition, and our biggest fundraiser for the year- proceeds help Petaluma Active 20-30 in our mission to help local children in need. Annual July 4th Bell-Ringing Ceremony - 10:30 am

Gather on the Museum front steps for a Helen Putnam tradition. Mayor Glass will conduct the official unveiling of the City of Petaluma’s 1858 incorporation documents. Hear the history of the July 4th bell-ringing. Ring the Korbel Bell, afterwards enjoy cookies and lemonade. Ceremony starts at 10:30am Bell ringing at 11am

American Dream Auto Show - 11:00 am

See specialized and custom specialty cars brought in by participating Car Clubs and individuals. You will see: Classics, Street Rods, Low-Riders, Muscle Cars, Rat Rods and more. This block party style street event is FREE and includes activities for the entire family! Music, food trucks, vehicle demonstrations and “Best of” awards to participants is just a part of all the happenings. Get your "Luck of the Draw" $1 - $250 Raffle Tickets to win a custom '49 Chevy Truck. 101 North beer will be flowing, and Griffo Distillery will be serving their specialty cocktails next door!
