FIGURE AS STORY: Main Gallery – Figure As Story is a juried exhibition featuring 51 artists from 9 Bay Area counties. Selected from 316 submissions, this exhibition reflects the vitality of contemporary figurative art, representing a multitude of art forms and approaches to the figure. As a special feature of the show, artists were requested to provide a story about their work. Some chose to create a fiction; others shared their process or inspiration.
